╗╩╣┌ÎŃ▓╩Thermoelectric coolers for telecom industry

There are two ML thermoelectric coolers Series - ML06 and ML07. Both have the same dimensions and are very common for WDM applications in standard “Butterfly” or DIL packages. The main difference between ML06 and ML07 Series is in internal elements cross-section. ML07 thermoelectric coolers are more powerful in terms of cooling capacity and may be more optimal for applications with high heatload. ML06 Series is the standard thermoelectric coolers Series for telecom industry. In terms of geometry and applied materials both Series are equal, qualified by Telcordia GR-468 Standard and RoHS compliant.

ML06 Series is the standard thermoelectric coolers Series for telecom industry. ╗╩╣┌ÎŃ▓╩Thermoelectric coolers from ML06 Series are based on RMT regular assembly technology with up to 12W/cm2 cooling power density. ╗╩╣┌ÎŃ▓╩Thermoelectric coolers may have regular wires or WB terminal connection type. 120 different thermoelectric coolers are available in standard range.
ML07 Series is the alternative solution to ML06 thermoelectric coolers. ╗╩╣┌ÎŃ▓╩Thermoelectric coolers from ML07 Series are based on RMT regular assembly technology with up to 14W/cm2 cooling power density. ╗╩╣┌ÎŃ▓╩Thermoelectric coolers may have regular wires or WB terminal connection type. 120 different thermoelectric coolers are available in standard range.





Hint: The decision which thermoelectric cooler to apply - from ML06 or ML07 - depends from application. In some cases ML06 TECs can be more optimal, in some others - ML07 TECs. The examples below show the difference between ML06 and ML07 TE coolers in terms of performance and power consumption. Example 2 shows that 1ML07-029-05 TEC is more optimal under heatload higher than 2W in specified scenarios.
